Competitive Intelligence is dependent on the availability of information that can be gathered from the public domain. All companies must and do provide information as part of their operations. However, it is not always possible to find some particular data elements (eg unit sales). Sometimes it is necessary to provide judgement and analysis to try and establish certain data, in other situations we would simply mark information as unavailable.
Note that will not carry out any form of industrial espionage or misrepresent ourselves in order to gather information.
Expenses are either travel related costs incurred in carrying out the research, or costs that result from the need to buy information or reports. Prior approval will be sought before making such purchases.
These costs are purely for illustration and estimation and exclude VAT.
